2012 has been a hugely significant year for tourism with the realisation of considerable capital investment across Northern Ireland, a year when the world spotlight has shone on everything from our industrial and maritime heritage, to our music, our golfing credentials, our unique stories and breathtaking scenery.

International food writer David J Constable recently reported finding the ‘best steak in the world’ in Northern Ireland. Constable acclaimed the beef from Glenarm Shorthorn cattle as providing ‘steak without equal’ and he has been waxing lyrical on the quality of our local food in the Huffington Post and elsewhere since visiting with a group of food writers hosted by the Northern Ireland Tourist Board.
