TIC background and role of NITB
The Northern Ireland Tourism Information Centre (TIC) Network was established by NITB in 1994. The rationale for its establishment was a recognition of the need to achieve a more co-ordinated, consistent and improved quality of information delivery to out- of-state and domestic holidaymakers. NITB plays a key co-ordination role, primarily through delivery of a range of services, listed below, central to the successful operation of a TIC.
The Network currently comprises of 29 TICs.
