Strangford Lough is one of the identified nine key Destination areas by the Department of Enterprise Trade and Investment’s (DETI) draft Tourism Strategy for Northern Ireland to 2020.
NITB continues to engage, support and build close links with representatives of Ards Borough Council and Down District Council in the production and delivery of the Destination Plan and Forum.
A Forum has been established, and the draft Destination Plan for the Strangford Lough area is currently being reviewed.
