NITB Quality and Standards Inspectors will assess a tourist accommodation provider based on the quality of their premises and on the visitor experience they provide.
Quality Grading Inspections are conducted each year and are carried out separately from the statutory certification inspection. For serviced accommodation premises the inspections require an overnight stay. Premises have the ability to achieve a grading of between one to five stars:
